When you start your Windows XP-based computer, you may receive a STOP error message on a blue screen that is similar to the following error message: STOP 0x00000074 (0x00000003, 0x00000002, 0x80087000) BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO
CAUSE : This issue may occur if one or more of the random access memory (RAM) modules that are installed in your computer is damaged or if the RAM configuration is incompatible.
To troubleshoot and resolve this issue, remove the memory modules that are installed in your computer, but leave enough RAM to start your computer and run Windows, and then restart your computer. Also see if all the installed ram are of same Mhz /Frequency. Like DDR I 100 MHZ/ DDR I 333 Mhz/ DDR I 400 Mhz/ DDR II 400 Mhz/ DDR II 667 Mhz/ DDR II 800Mhz/ DDR III 1066 Mhz/ DDR III 1333 Mhz. All the module have to be same speed or else it’ll create issue in tern of STOP Error/ Memory Error. On top of you may not be able to enjoy the best system performance.
