The "Define Send/Receive Groups…" button does not open in Outlook

User can not access the “Define Send/Receive Groups…”  button to adjust the auto Send/Receive frequency with the email server.  User will be able to send out new emails with the send button.  Incoming emails have to be manually initiated by Click Send/Receive Tab.

You might have a damaged .SRS file, try deleting it with Outlook closed. Outlook will re-create the file the next time you start it.  The normal location for this file is:
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Sometime Add ins also create this issue

Start Outlook in safe mode and check if you can access ‘Define Send/Receive Groups’ option

Click on Start > Run > Outlook /safe and press Enter

Note: There is space between Outlook and ‘/’

If Outlook safe works, disable the add-ins following steps mentioned below:

a) Click on File menu, click Options > Add-ins > Go button besides Manage: Com-in Add.

b) Check if there are add-ins listed, clear the checkbox

c) Close the Office program and restart it.

d) Disable each add-in one at a time, restart the outlook, and repeat the above procedure. If the issue reappears again, it will help you to determine which add-in is causing this issue.
