iBall Splendo Intel-Powered Windows PC Stick Launched At Rs. 8,999

Microsoft in partnership with iBall has launched iBall Splendo PC Stick. This device converts a TV into a full fledged PC and a Smart TV which can be used for browsing internet, editing documents, watching videos or movies and more. It boasts of its fan-less design.

As far as specifications of the device are concerned, the iBall Splendo is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor coupled with Intel HD graphics and 2 GB RAM. Running Windows 8.1, it houses 32GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable via microSD card. On connectivity front, it comes with HDMI port, USB port, multi-channel digital audio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 options.

Commenting on the launch, Vineet Durani – Director Windows Business Group, Microsoft India said, “The iBall Splendo is for people who love devices and want to be connected all the time using multiple form factors. These users are tech enthusiasts who love gadgets, have access to multiple TVs at home, love the Smart TV experience and use Windows for browsing, social networking and multimedia consumption.”

Price and Availability

Priced at Rs. 8,999, the iBall Splendo PC Stick will go on sale starting July 2015 via IT and TV retail channels across the country. It will be offered with one year warranty.
